I Would Highly Recommend Shannon
I am very happy to write a letter of recommendation for The Keewaydin Group in regards to the services they provided to my organization over the past 20 years. Company policy prohibits specific letters of recommendation on company letterhead, but I am able to write a personal letter as long as the company name is not revealed.
I have personal experience with Keewaydin and Shannon Reilly from 1997 to 2008 in my capacity as growth leader for an Edina, Minnesota based fully owned subsidiary of a Fortune 50 corporation headquartered in Michigan. Keewaydin was our exclusive agent for real estate services over a 20 year period, and the vast majority of that work was done with Shannon. This work continues today. Our Parent Company has a national relationship with another real estate firm, but due to the expertise Keewaydin possessed of the Twin Cities area, the subsidiary always contracted Keewaydin and specifically Shannon Reilly for all of our real estate dealings.
My responsibilities at the subsidiary company were related to expanding rapid growth through the investment of over $250,000,000 during that timeframe. This growth required rapid acquisition of needed real estate for offices, warehousing, and manufacturing facilities. The activities with Keewaydin included exploration of site locations both locally and nationwide, assisting with government support of our growth with any available programs, providing a specific strategy for each transaction working with company resources including legal representatives, marketing evaluation of alternative sites for the purposes of establishing value, negotiation of sale and or tease pricing, establishing terms and conditions for the transaction and land and building acquisition through long term leasing and or purchasing.
During our relationship with Keewaydin and Shannon, we had projects that consisted of:
- Lease extension of 115,000 square feet of commercial/industrial space.
- Site Search for up to 450,000 square feet of industrial space.
- Lease extension of 52,000 square feet of industrial space.
- Expansion of 2,700 square feet of office space.
- Purchase of 290,000 square feet of industrial/office space.
- Lease of 225,000 square feet of office/warehouse space.
- Purchase of 160,000 square feet of industrial space.
- Continued efforts in Minnesota to service company growth needs.
For each of these projects, Keewaydin and specifically Shannon interviewed Company resources to fully understand our needs, and then worked with us to establish a project strategy for the best methods to secure needed properties for the desired timeframe. The Keewaydin team provided market analysis for all properties and leases, made recommendations as to pricing, terms and conditions, and they handled all of the negotiations needed to produce final leases or purchase agreements for Company resources to execute. They were service-oriented and professional in all aspects of our projects, timely in all of their efforts and their pricing structure for services was very satisfactory.
